We dreamt of a Café by the sea. A Grand Café if you like. The menu had to be simple and classic, the décor sophisticated but fun and the service always perfect. This is our mantra and we are excited for you to experience this Magic at Mantra.

While you sip on your favourite cocktail made by one of our in-house mixologists and feast on locally sourced, seasonal dishes, The 41 offers spectacular views of the beach and Lions Head.
We offer daily breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
Sit back, enjoy our resident DJs every Saturday and Sunday, with a variety of monthly events – Drag Queens, live musicians, wine tasting and jazz along with many more so do keep an eye on our events page.
To keep you warm in the winter months, our fire place is lit, creating a cosy atmosphere to shelter you from Cape Town’s bleaker months.
Last but not least, The 41 welcomes all, including your furry family members who are kept on a leash- one of the very few pet-friendly spots in the city!
